Project Description

Pine Street Market | Portland MarketHall

Pine Street Market quickly became a prime food destination in a city already saturated with incredible restaurant options. The market reinterprets the classic market, bringing together nine small eateries into a space brimming with energy. Enthusiastic conversations at long common tables are matched by the creative and experimental concepts envisioned by some of Portland’s best restaurants. It’s a place that locals and visitors flock to, bringing constant activity to an area of Portland’s downtown that had been overlooked before.

InterUrban recently completed the renovation and adaptation of the 1886 Baggage and Carriage building. The effort focused on using historic and new market tax credits to bring back an incredible building with a unique concept. Pine Street Market is one of Portland’s trendiest office/retail buildings and 19,000 sqft is now home to GuideSpark, a San Francisco-based HR firm. Pine Street Market was awarded Portland’s 2016 Retail Development of the Year and sits just blocks from the Willamette River Waterfront Park.
